Pairing with your partner

One of you creates an invite in the app and sends the link, or reads out the two words over a call. The other opens the link or types the words, and the first person approves the request. Invites last 24 hours. If one runs out, just make a new one.

My partner's dot isn't moving

Heartfold needs location access set to Always to keep your trail while the app is closed. On their phone: Settings → Heartfold → Location → Always, with Precise Location on. Low Power Mode and poor signal can also make updates slower.

Battery

Heartfold rests the GPS when you're still and wakes it when you move, so most of the cost comes while you're travelling. If your battery drops faster than you'd expect, email us. We read those reports closely.

Deleting a moment

Open the moment and press and hold it to delete it. It disappears for both of you.

Deleting your account

Email hello@heartfold.app from the address you signed in with and we'll delete your account and everything in it. See the privacy policy for what that covers.
